DENALI NATIONAL PARK:
Denali National Park and Preserve is the most popular place to visit in Alaska! There is a community known as Denali Park, which stretches along the George Parks Highway offering seasonal businesses which provide visitor services.
Denali National Park is one of Alaska's most visited parks. Home to Denali, formerly known as Mt. McKinley, it's the tallest mountain in North America soaring up to 20,310 feet. Visitors come from all around the world to view the mountain and the 6 million acres of wilderness around it.

Denali National Park is located in the interior of Alaska. The closest town is Healy, however, the Denali Park area does offer multiple hotels, small restaurants and local shops open during the summer months of May through September.
Denali National Park, the Denali Park area and Healy can all be accessed via the George Parks Highway; which also connects Anchorage and Fairbanks. The Alaska Railroad also travels between Anchorage and Fairbanks, traveling through Denali with tracks running roughly parallel to the highway.
Denali National Park is an outdoor lovers dream. All levels of fitness and outdoors expertise are welcome to explore the area. Activities range from hiking overland to guided bus tours into the park to view wildlife. Around Denali Park you can flightsee, raft along the Nenana River, bird watch, fish, camp, cycle, and much more.
