7 Nights Juneau to Juneau

The Safari Explorer will cruise roundtrip Juneau for 7 nights. Spend your first night anchored in Funter Bay. In the morning you will pick up a National Park Service Ranger and cruise deep into Glacier Bay. You will linger by the Marble Islands, home to myriad seabirds. Glacier Bay is full of wildlife and you will have plenty of time to sight see as you cruise 60 miles up bay to Margerie and Grand Pacific Glaciers. After exiting the park you will spend the night anchored in a secluded cove. The waters of Icy Strait just outside Glacier Bay National Park are prime whale watching waters. Humpbacks flip their tales, spank their fins on the water and occasionally even breach clear out of the water. Then you will cruise Frederick Sound where there is more humpback whale viewing. After a night in Thomas Bay you will explore Tongass National forest near Petersburg. Cruise into Gambier Bay and kayak the coast of Admiralty Island National Monument. Anchor at Wood Spit for the night. The next day is spent at Ford's Terror and Endicott Arm. Then you will make your way back to Juneau for the end of your cruise.
