14 Nights Seattle to Juneau

On the Safari Escape enjoy 14 nights as you cruise from Seattle to Juneau. Depart Seattle and cruise North. Settle into the rhythm of the sea as you leave your busy life behind. Wander through the hundreds of untouched islands in the San Juans, then take a couple of hours to stroll through Friday Harbor. Spend the next four days exploring the Inside Passage. Your Expedition leader will take you on nature hikes and kayaking excursions. Then you arrive in the northernmost port of British Columbia, the port of Prince Rupert. Discover the rich, cultural heritage of Alaska's Tlingit Indians on a guided tour or Saxman Totem Village. Open space and solitude greets you as you cruise north. Stop in Meyers Chuck and anchor in Canoe Pass. Petersburg's Norwegian history is quite prominent throughout the community, and you'll have some first hand experience of the local culture before you depart to watch for humpbacks in some of the richest whale waters of Southeast Alaska. Spend the next two days in the most pristine corners of Alaska. Paddle your kayak in remote fjords, hike to natural hot springs and wander through the temperate rainforest. Next it is time for Alaska's crown jewel, Glacier Bay National Park. Weave among the icebergs, enjoy nights in hidden coves and see wildlife along the shores. The next day your cruise ends in Juneau.
