Denali National Park - Located 240 miles north of Anchorage, Denali National Park and Preserve encompasses six million acres of forest, tundra, glaciers and mountains. Towering above it all at 20,320 feet is Mt. McKinley, the tallest peak in North America.

Direct-to-the-Wilderness Rail - Step off the gangway directly into a glass-domed railcar that sweeps you on a spectacular ride through Alaska’s interior. And arriving later that same day at the Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge for more time to enjoy the area.

    Enjoy a leisurely morning, then travel by motorcoach to Denali National Park. Check into the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge for an afternoon of activities. The Alaska at 40 below experience and Music of Denali dinner theater. (B,D)

    Day 10 Denali
    After breakfast enjoy the Experience Denali tour hosted by Alaska Geographic. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you choose. Enjoy another night at the lodge. (B)

    Day 11 Denali/Fairbanks
    Enjoy the Denali Sourdough Expedition breakfast this morning. Then, opt for an excursion or just relax at the lodge. Reboard the train and head north to Fairbanks. Check into the Fairbanks Princess Riverside Lodge for 2 nights. (B)

    Day 12 Fairbanks
    This morning, set off for the El Dorado gold mine with a chance to pan for gold!. Later, take a Sternwheeler riverboat cruise on the Chena and Tanana Rivers. Enjoy another night in Fairbanks. (B)

    Day 13 Fairbanks
    Your tour ends this morning in Fairbanks. (B)

    Rangers and Naturalists - Alaska's intriguing flora, fauna and geology come to life by the full-time onboard naturalists who sails with you the entire length of the cruise. While in Glacier Bay National Park, rangers from the National Park Service will board the cruise ship to serve as tour guides and answer questions about this national treasure. Rangers also lead our Junior Ranger and Teen Explorer programs in Glacier Bay, which teach kids about the wildlife and scenery in a fun and entertaining way.
