Ketchikan - KETCHIKAN CITY TOUR AND TOTEM BIGHT TOUR This trip will take you to the outskirts of Ketchikan, as Totem Bight is a lovely 15 minutes from downtown. It was originally the site of a traditional fishing camp and has proven to be a peaceful spot on the edge of Tongass Narrows. The short walk through the woods to the location of the totems provides both an aesthetic and educational experience. 2.5 hours

Juneau - MENDENHALL GLACIER AND JUNEAU TOUR BY BUS After an interesting tour of the distinctive architecture and angled streets that mark historic downtown Juneau, you will visit the remarkable Mendenhall Glacier. Here, you will spend one hour appreciating one of Alaska’s most accessible glaciers. You will pay the $3 admission to the Mendenhall Glacier Welcome Center upon entering. At some times of the year, you can even witness bears catching fish from a stream. Your return will take you on a different route, through Auke Lake and the University of Alaska-Juneau. This tour is unique because of the length of time in each location and the native guides who add their insight to your experience. 3 hours

Ketchikan - TONGASS RAINFOREST HIKING EXPEDITION Venture to the Tongass National Forest for a 2 hour exploration of Ward Lake. You will take the Ward Lake Trail where you will observe the wildlife in this area and learn about the Tongass from your local guide. Wear hiking boots or tennis shoes. 3 hours.

Juneau - CANOPY ZIPLINE ADVENTURE Imagine yourself suspended above the ground, gliding from one uniquely themed platform to the next through the Alpine Rainforest Canopy. You will be outfitted with top of the line equipment and given a safety briefing. Glide away from the forest floor and instantly transition from a bear's eye view to a bird's eye view. At the end of the tour, you will be able to purchase photos, as well as gifts from the lodge. 3.5 hours.

Skagway - YUKON U-DRIVE JEEP STAMPEDE Beginning and ending at the port of Skagway, you’ll drive your Jeep Wrangler on a four-hour, 100-mile round trip to relive the days of the Alaskan gold rush, cross into the Yukon Territory in Canada, and view some of the most beautiful sights in North America. You’ll see the White Pass and Yukon Railroad, towering waterfalls and majestic mountains reflected in crystal lakes, and log cabin relics among the endless green. Chances are very good that you’ll sight wildlife – bear, moose, eagles, goats, sheep and ptarmigan. The Yukon border provides just one of many photo ops. Ketchikan - SEE SEA CRAB FISHERMEN AT WORK Ever wanted to see a slimy, tentacle-filled 80 pound octopus up close? How about seeing real fishermen at work? Now you’ve got the chance to do so in beautiful Ketchikan! Set out on the “Aleutian Ballad” featured on the Discovery Channel, equipped with a real fishing crew and catching gear, amphitheater and panoramic upper deck. You’ll see all sorts of sea creatures such as crabs, eel, prawns, sharks, rock fish, gray cod and more! If you’re an animal lover, don’t worry! The fishermen won’t keep what comes in. Instead the creatures will be placed into a live tank onboard so you can get a really good look at them and even touch some if you want! 3.5 hours

Juneau - TAKU GLACIER LODGE FLIGHT AND FEAST Flightseeing is a big part of Alaskan tours and we find this a terrific bargain. Your experience in a floatplane will no doubt be your first and ours is fully narrated as you travel over the Juneau Icefields and along the Taku River. You land at a remote lodge but feel right at home. Here you will enjoy the best of the salmon bakes in this historic location, and follow this with a nature walk that beats them all. Fifty minutes of flight time over 5 glaciers and a true Alaskan land experience is hard to beat. 3.75 hours

Skagway - WHITE PASS RAIL UP AND SCENIC BUS DOWN The first segment of your trip was completed in 1900. The White Pass Railway has a narrow gauge track that takes the visitor into the White Pass. Your eyes will follow the spectacular views while you listen to historic narration. Climbing up the mountainside, you will see the extreme changes in vegetation as you pass through several temperate zones before reaching Fraser. Here you will transfer to a comfortable step-on vehicle for a more personal view of this area with a local guide. As you drive down the mountainside, you will have the opportunity to take some fabulous photos at scenic vistas. Some of the many scenic stops are the Skagway Scenic Overlook, Pitchfork Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and numerous other captivating views. 3.5 hours.
