Escorted Alaska Cruisetour #3

This itinerary starts AFTER the accompanying cruise itinerary.

Upon arrival in Seward, your Tour Director will greet you at the pier. Your family journey into the interior of Alaska begins with a visit to the Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward, a center dedicated to understanding and preserving the environment of sea wildlife. Here you can follow the life journey of a Pacific Salmon or get close and personal with some local sea creatures in the discovery pools. Continue your search for marine wildlife as you set off on a Resurrection Bay Wildlife Cruise with a visit to Fox Island for lunch and exploration of their skipping stone beach. Upon return, board the Wilderness Express, our glass domed traincar, for a spectacular ride to Alyeska. Relax as a family while you gaze out at cascading waterfalls and glaciers. You'll spend the night in luxury at The Hotel Alyeska.

Start your day with the opportunity to view native Alaskan wildlife up close and personal with a visit to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Afterward you're free to explore Alyeska on your own and enjoy breathtaking views as you soar 2,300 feet above the valley on the Alyeska Tramway. In the afternoon, you'll board your deluxe motor coach for the short drive to Anchorage. Upon arrival in Anchorage you will be taken to the Anchorage Museum where you will have the opportunity to learn more insight into the art, history and science of Alaska while the kids explore the Imaginarium Discovery Center. The remainder of the evening can be spent at your leisure in Alaska's largest city. There are many dining options and sites to see. Simply consult your Adventure Specialist for local insight. In the morning, you'll board your deluxe motor coach for a relaxing and scenic drive to Denali. Upon arrival, you'll depart on the Discover Denali Tour, a guided exploration of Denali National Park which includes educational and interactive presentations on the sub arctic ecosystem. A beach walk along the Nenana River followed by some campfire delights will surely end the day on a high note. You'll have the rest of the evening free to explore on your own. Overnight in Denali.

The day is yours to explore Denali, or choose to book an optional excursion, such as white-water rafting, helicopter flightseeing or the ever popular Husky Homestead Tour. Overnight a second evening in Denali.

After breakfast, board your deluxe motorcoach and drive to Alaska's Golden Heart, Fairbanks. Here you'll visit the fascinating El Dorado Gold Mine for a historical tour of a working gold mine where everyone has an opportunity to try their luck at panning for gold. Your evening is free to book an optional activity, such as a flightseeing tour across the Arctic Circle. Overnight in Fairbanks.

Your Tour Director will see that you are transferred to the Fairbanks airport for your flight home.
