Klondike Explorer and Inside Passage Alaska Cruisetour #1 features a 7 NIGHT LAND TOUR (after the cruise) which includes 1 night Whitehorse, 2 nights Dawson City, 1 night Tok, 1 night Fairbanks, 1 night Denali and 1 night Anchorage. You'll spend two days on the McKinley Explorer Dome Train, one day on the White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad, Frantic Follies Vaudeville Revue, Yukon Queen II river cruise, Gold Dredge No 8 Tour with lunch, and Tundra Wilderness Tour of Denali National Park.

This itinerary starts AFTER the accompanying cruise itinerary.
Day 1: Skagway to Whitehorse
Meet a Klondike National Park Ranger and your Tour Director in Skagway. Then sightsee aboard the White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad. Tonight in Whitehorse, the capital of the Yukon Territory, kick up your heels at the Frantic Follies Vaudeville Revue.
Day 2: Dawson City
Trace the Yukon River north following the colourful Klondike Trail. Have lunch in Minto (Included) and arrive in Dawson City, a Klondike National Historic Site.
Day 3: Dawson City and Tombstone Park
Venture into ancient land at Tombstone Park and join local interpreters for optional wildlife-viewing hikes. Or stay in rollicking Dawson City, reliving the gold rush.
Day 4: Eagle and Tok
Cruise 102 miles of the scenic Yukon River aboard the mv Yukon Queen II catamaran (lunch included onboard). Hear tales of river pilots, mail carriers, Mounties and prospectors. Disembark in Eagle for a self-guided tour of what was once the judicial, commercial, mining and military center of the upper Yukon. Later, visit the tiny town of Chicken and overnight in Tok, a colourful trade center for local Athabascan native villages.
Day 5: Fairbanks
Travel this celebrated route, stopping at an authentic Alaskan roadhouse for a taste of frontier Alaska. At Gold Dredge No. 8 a National Historic Site, browse the mining exhibits, pan for gold and dine in the miners hall (lunch included). Overnight in downtown Fairbanks, Alaska's 'Golden Heart' city.
Day 6: Denali
Board the McKinley Explorer, the largest domed railcars on the historic Alaska Railroad route. Sit back and relax in the observation lounge. You'll arrive and check into your comfortable lodge and later enjoy a 6- to 8- hour Tundra Park- the best tour for wildlife viewing and dramatic Mt. McKinley viewpoints. Tonight, relax at your Denali Park lodge.
Day 7: Anchorage
Visit the Denali Park Visitor Center or take a scenic flight. Then reboard the award winning McKinley Explorer on the way to downtown Anchorage. Transfer to your downtown hotel for an overnight stay in Alaska's largest city. Say goodbye to your Tour Director.
Day 8: Anchorage
Your tour ends this morning in Anchorage.
