Alaska's "Golden Heart City" of Fairbanks is a great introduction to the heart of this unique state. Check in to your hotel and get ready for the beginning of your adventure. |
| Day 2: Fairbanks |
A full day in Fairbanks gives you time to get a feel for the unique culture and history of the region. You'll also enjoy a visit to Gold Dredge 8, where you can pan for gold. Then, an authentic Sternwheeler Riverboat Cruise takes you to an Athabascan fishing village and dog sled kennels. A hearty miner's lunch is included. |
| Day 3: Fairbanks / Denali |
Enjoy a scenic motorcoach journey to Denali National Park and the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge. This afternoon, travel into the park on a Natural History Tour. Spend the evening relaxing on the deck and enjoy stunning views of the Nenana River Canyon. |
| Day 4: Denali / Whittier |
