| Day 1: Whittier / Denali |
Direct-to-the-Wilderness rail service provides a fabulous beginning to an incredible journey, with magnificent scenery and friendly Princess service all along the way. You'll arrive refreshed for your very first night on land in Alaska at the Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge. Easy trails link the various places to shop and dine in this campus setting. And of course, no matter where you are, the natural splendor of the park is never far away. |
| Day 2: Denali |
You have a full day to get out into one of America's best national parks. This morning, choose an optional excursion from the Tour Desk or just relax at the lodge. This afternoon, a Natural History Tour serves as a wonderful introduction to the animals, plants and geological features found there. |
| Day 3: Denali / Fairbanks |
This morning journey by comfortable motorcoach to the "Golden Heart City" of Fairbanks. The remainder of the day is yours to explore the area. |
| Day 4: Fairbanks |
A full day in Fairbanks gives you time to get a feel for the unique culture and history of the region. You'll take a cruise on an authentic Sternwheeler Riverboat down the Chena River then enjoy a Gold Dredge 8 tour with the chance to pan for your own gold. A hearty miner's lunch is included. The evening is at leisure. |
