An extra day means you'll have the time to really experience Fairbanks. The popular El Dorado Gold Mine Tour reveals the inner workings and authentic lifestyle of a real Alaskan mine. A nostalgic Sternwheeler Riverboat Cruise includes a stop at an Athabascan village where you can see a beadwork artist's creations. Tonight, kick back and enjoy your lodge. Breakfast and dinner are included. | | Day 3: Fairbanks to Denali | Expansive vistas of nature unfold along the Princess Dome train route to Denali National Park. Breakfast and dinner are included. | | Day 6: Mt. McKinley | This is your day to soak up the sublime splendor of Mt. McKinley from your gracious lodge and on an optional tour. Go flightseeing around the mountain-this is one of the best spots from which to enjoy Mt. McKinley. You'll see various climbing routes and base camps and perhaps even spot some climbers tackling the ascent. Later, enjoy dinner and relive the day's adventures.
