| Day 1: Fairbanks | Arrive in Fairbanks, and check into your hotel for an overnight stay. | | Day 2: Fairbanks to Denali | This morning a Sternwheeler Riverboat Cruise on the Chena and Tanana Rivers introduces you to local history and Native culture. With motor coach sightseeing to Denali National Park and an overnight at our Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge your adventure is off to a great start. Don't miss the chance to relax and take in all the nooks and crannies of the 16,000-square-foot Main Lodge. Cozy up to the river-rock fireplace, take in the sights from the 30-foothigh windows, enjoy an ice cream at the River Run deli, browse the ships, surf the Internet, and then explore the rest of the campus from the landscaped trails. | | Day 3: Denali to Mt. McKinley | Wake up to a guided Natural History Tour into the park watching for moose, Dall sheep, birds and wildflowers too. Then, board Princess luxury railcars to historic Talkeetna. Continue by motor coach to the Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge for an overnight stay. Stroll along the self-guided loop trail, designed by an Alaskan botanist and featuring the flora and fauna of the area. Then explore the lodge itself from the Great Room and outdoor deck to the many dining options. | | Day 4: Mt. McKinley to Whittier | Travel back to Talkeetna, where many of the Mt. McKinley climbing expeditions were staged, and board the McKinley Express for Whittier. Here, you'll step off your train and onto your ship for an incomparable cruise experience. |
