Detailed Itinerary
This land tour needs to be accompanied by one of the following cruise itineraries
This itinerary starts BEFORE the accompanying cruise itinerary.
Day 1: Fairbanks
Nicknamed the "Golden Heart of Alaska," Fairbanks was a tiny trading post before a miner hit gold. Today you can still pan for gold here and cruise the Chena in a vintage sternwheeler, or embark on a flightseeing tour of the Arctic Circle.
Day 2: Fairbanks
Included activities today include a Fairbanks City Tour and Riverboat Discovery tour. The afternoon and evening for you to enjoy at leisure.
Day 3: Fairbanks / Denali
Board a domed railcar for a scenic journey to Denali National Park. The day in Denali includes a Tundra Wilderness Tour before your overnight stay at Denali.
Day 4: Denali / Anchorage
All Alaska Cruisetours include a Denali National Park experience. In summer this untamed wilderness is bursting with life, from migrating birds to moose, bears, wolves and more. Standing tall over the park is Mt. McKinley. Transfer by deluxe motorcoach to Anchorage, where you will spend the night at Anchorage.
Day 5: Anchorage / Seward
City sophistication meets frontier flair in Anchorage, home to nearly half the state population as well as bears and moose. Surrounded by splendors like the Cook Islet and Chugach Mountains, wilderness is part of the urban fabric.
Day 6: Seward
Seward is perched on a peninsula where the ice age has had lasting power. Where ocean and mountains meet, the frosty waters and rugged coast of Resurrection Bay sustain birds, sea mammals and other marine life. Today you will board your ship for the cruise segment of your voyage.
